Localization increases ad relevance by translating, adapting, and regionalizing your creative automatically using our Feed or AI Text tools.
To localize ads using Feed:

Prepare your CSV with language variations:
- Include fields for languages like English, French, Spanish, etc.
- Each row should represent a single variation.
- Navigate to the left sidebar and click on Feed.
- Select Create feed.
- Click on Import feed.
- A pop-up window will open. Go to the Sync from URL tab.
- Paste the CSV link you saved earlier.
- Click Confirm link.
- From the Target ID section, select Country.
- Click Import feed.
- Click Apply feed.
We use ISO 3166 country codes. For the current list of countries and their ISO 3166-1-alpha-2 codes, refer to the ISO website or Wikipedia.
To localize with AI Text:
- Ensure your creative is complete and ready.
- Make sure no layer or element is selected on the stage.
- Head to the right sidebar and go to the AI Translate 1 tab.
- Select the languages 2 into which you wish to translate your creative.
- Click Translate design.
How To Export the Translated Variations
- Go to Download.
- Select your desired export format.
- Regardless of the format you choose, you will find a Feed Rows section with these options:
- Download Current row preview.
- Select the range of rows you'd like to download.
Publish Your Ads with Ad Serving
When your ads are served through Ad Serving, we automatically detect and display the appropriate language based on the end-user's country or browser language 3.
- Enable Ad Serving.
- From the Ad Serving card, you can:
- Enable ClickTag.
- Set up External tracking.
- Set up Dynamic Text.
- To obtain the ad tag, you have two options:
- Download as XLS or CSV: A spreadsheet will be downloaded to your computer from which you can copy the ad tag.
- Copy code: The ad tag will be copied to your clipboard.
1 Note on AI Translate:
- If a feed is already applied to your creative, you will not be able to use AI Translate. You must detach the active feed first.
- The AI Translate tab will only appear if your creative contains text layers.
2 Note on Languages:
- You can set fallback fonts as a backup if your design is translated into languages that do not support special characters used in your brand typography.
3 Note on Ad Serving Language Detection:
- IP geolocation is inherently imprecise. Locations are often near the center of the population and should not be used to identify a specific address or household.
- If the end-user is in a country or uses a browser language not available in the AI translate list, the default language will be displayed.
- Any "Go to URL" attached to an existing layer in the design will be overwritten by the ClickTag.
