While in Edit mode you can access the top dropdown menu -> Preferences section to enable or disable a few options that assist with the editing process.
1. Snap to objects
This option enables thin blue lines that assist in alignment with other layers or with the edge of the canvas
2. Show measurements
When enabled the distance to certain elements and canvas will be displayed on the four sides of the element you move on the canvas
3. Auto zoom in Focus mode
If you have this option enabled, it will automatically zoom into the size you've selected for individual edit
4. Auto single edit on zoom
Should you zoom in on a size when in All Layouts edit mode, the system will automatically switch to Individual edit mode for that size
