File upload requirements
Here is what you can bring into The Brief, a list of the supported file types and their requirements. Assets can be uploaded directly to your Brand Kit or into the editor while working on a design.
Image upload
- The accepted file formats are JPG, PNG and SVG with a maximum file size of 20 MB
- We also support animated GIFs with a maximum file size of 1 MB
We highly recommend using SVG files for logos and simple graphic elements.
Video upload
- The accepted file formats are MP4, MOV, WEBM, AVI and MKV
- You can upload video files with a maximum file size of 100 MB and up to 5 minutes in duration
Audio upload
- The accepted file formats are MP3, WAV and OGG with a maximum file size of 10 MB
Audio files will only play in designs exported in MP4 or HTML5 format.
Font upload
- The accepted file formats are TTF, OTF and WOFF with a maximum file size of 15 MB
- Currently the platform does not support variable font files
PSD upload
- The maximum file size accepted is 400 MB
- The resolution limit for the uploaded file is 4000x4000 px
To remove uploaded elements, you can access the Brand Kit in which they were uploaded, access their location based on the format (For example fonts will be placed in the Typography section) and after ensuring that it's the correct asset, you can click on Delete from the options.
