Templates help speed up your design process and help you stay brand-consistent and efficient across your projects. There are two types of templates available:
- The Brief Templates - Pre-designed stock templates that anyone can customize.
- Brand templates - Custom templates created within Brand Kits are designed to maintain brand identity and adhere to editing permissions.
Differences between The Brief and Brand templates
The Brief templates | Brand templates | |
Availability | Available to all users | Created and managed within Brand Kits |
Customization | Fully customizable | Customizable based on set permissions |
Storage location | The Brief template library | Stored under Brand templates in Brand Kits |
Best Practices
- Use The Brief templates for inspiration. They are fully customizable and work well for one-off designs.
- Use Brand templates for consistency.
- Set permissions carefully. Control editing rights to maintain design and brand consistency.
Using The Brief Templates
The Brief templates offer a quick way to start a new design. All of your team members — with the exception of Viewers and Content editors — can customize stock templates freely.
