For industries that require Important Safety Information (ISI) to be clearly and compliantly displayed in digital ads, The Brief simplifies your creation process by allowing you to integrate ISI disclosures using a scrollable text element. This feature provides flexibility, enabling the text to scroll automatically or be read at the user's pace.
How to add an Autoscroll text layer
- Add a text layer to your creative.
- Paste the ISI within the text layer.
- Head over to the Properties bar and click Type settings.
- Set the text box resizing behavior to Fixed height.
- Select Autoscroll as the Overflow behavior.
- You can adjust the Autoscroll settings as follows:
- Scroll speed.
- Autoscroll start delay¹.
- Preview your design to see if any further adjustments are necessary.
Embedding Images Within ISI Text
You can also enrich your ISI text with relevant images directly within the text layer:
- Insert Image: While editing your text, position your cursor where you want the image to appear and click the Insert Image button.

Customize Image Properties: Once inserted, you can customize the image:
- Size: Adjust the image size from 10% to 200% of the text container width.
- Top/Bottom Margins: Set margins (0–5) to control spacing around the image.
- Aspect Ratio: Choose to preserve the aspect ratio or customize it.
- Add Redirecting URL (Optional): You can also link a redirecting URL to the embedded image, though this is less common for ISI.
🧠 Pro tip: If the ISI information you need to display is long, we recommend increasing the duration of your ad.
Note¹: The delay applies after the Build In animation is over.
For optimal functionality and display with autoscrolling ISI, we recommend exporting your ads via Ad Serving or as an HTML5 file.
