Roles & permissions
In The Brief, roles define what someone can do inside your workspace—from full creative control to view-only access.
Available roles:
- Admin – access to everything: billing, brand settings, user management, and all creative tools.
- Brand Template designer – can create and edit Brand Templates with full creative access. Billing and user admin permissions aren’t included.
- Editor – can fully create and edit designs, but doesn’t have access to billing or user admin settings.
- Light Editor designer – can work in Light Editor and access templates but can’t change designs or Brand Kits.
- Viewer – a read-only, free of charge role, that any other user role within a team can invite to a team.
- Custom – define your own mix of permissions across content, brands, publishing, and more.
