What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security for your account. It means that, in addition to your regular password, you'll need to confirm your identity with a second method before you can log in.
How to set up the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
- Log into your account.
- Click on your profile picture in the right top corner.
- Go to Manage Account.
- Click on Your Account under Account Settings.
- Under your account details toggle on the Two-Factor Authentication.
- Click Confirm.
- A QR code will appear which you can scan into your authenticator application on your mobile device.
- You can use your preferred authentication app like Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.
How to disable the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
- Log into your account.
- Click on your profile picture in the right top corner.
- Go to Manage Account.
- Click on Your Account under Account Settings.
- Under your account details toggle off the Two-Factor Authentication.
- Now you can continue logging into your account with the email and password combination.
💡Important: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is not available for third-party logins. This feature can only be enabled for accounts that use an email and password combination for logging in.
