To leverage the Meta integration, ensure you meet the following requirements:
- Active The Brief Subscription: You must have a paid subscription.
- Sufficient Export Credits: Verify you have enough export credits for publishing. Each export consumes 1 credit (for Dynamic Product Ad listings, each product uses 1 export credit).
- Meta Account Access:
- Access to a Meta Business Account.
- Access to at least one Meta Ad Account linked to that business.
Connecting Your Meta Account
The first time you initiate the publishing process, you'll be prompted with a one-time authorization to connect your Meta Business Account to The Brief.
- Team-Wide Access: Once a team member connects a Meta account, all other team members in The Brief automatically gain publishing access.
- Multiple Accounts: You can link multiple Meta accounts to your The Brief team.
- Disconnection: You have the flexibility to disconnect any linked Meta account at any time in the Publish to Meta section.
To do this you need to access a design which you'd like to publish and from the top right corner select:
Export & Publish -> Publish to Meta option
Dynamic Product Ad (DPA) Catalog Management
For publishing Dynamic Product Ads, follow these steps:
- Import Product Feed: Import your product feed into The Brief. You can upload a CSV file or input a direct URL.
- Publish to Meta:
- The Brief will export your product catalogs directly to your Meta Business Manager.
- Automatic Syncing: Any changes you make in your product feed will automatically sync the updates to the catalog in Meta.
- Manual Re-publish for Template Changes: If you modify a template in The Brief, you will need to manually re-publish the DPA to reflect those changes in Meta.
Important Note on DPA Credits: Each individual product within a DPA listing consumes 1 export credit. For example, if your DPA features 100 products, it will use 100 export credits.
Campaign Management on Meta
While The Brief facilitates the direct publishing of your creatives, certain campaign settings, such as targeting, scheduling, and analytics tracking, are exclusively managed within the Meta platform. You can view your campaign performance and insights directly in Meta's reporting tools.
